for your health
Too many people accept (postnatal) complaints such as inactive or weak pelvic floor muscles or postnatal pains. At Physiomotion we have the knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat the most complex postnatal / pelvic floor issues. Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) is a great way to train and re-activate inactive muscles and nerves. In 90% of our cases, a month of training at home is enough to 'get the job done’ back to a good pelvic floor muscle! Find out more?
What is Functional Electrical Stimulation?
FES is a training tool especially for the postnatal pelvic floor or other women’s health conditions. After research and analysis, in many cases we find the pelvic floor muscles are not working (correctly or not at all!). The muscle is inside so it is difficult to train and find. FES contracts it for you so you and your muscle learn again how to function correctly!
Pelvic muscles training with FES
You can train with FES in the comfort and privacy of your home. We teach you how to use the device and which programs to follow, there are diverse programs from a workout to strength training. It's a great tool to get the pelvic muscles started again. After a short 'kick start' of minimal one month, you can get started with real muscle training through exercises.
